Information about your surgery
Our nursing staff (blue uniform) or nursing assistants (white) will tell you how to prepare to be transferred to the operating room.
When you are transferred, your companions must wait in the room since at the end of the operation. The doctor will call by phone to inform them of the result. Normally, after the operation, the patient goes to the Resuscitation Room until the anesthetist discharges him and he is transferred back to the room.
The time of your surgery may vary depending on the evolution of the rest of the scheduled interventions. You will not necessarily go down to the operating room first thing in the morning or in the afternoon. We appreciate your understanding if the wait is prolonged.
Back in the room: We recommend that you have a quiet postoperative period, with few companions and brief visits.
If you feel uncomfortable or in pain, call the infirmary for a solution.
Doctor’s visit: Your specialist’s visit will not have a fixed schedule. Check with the nurse if you have any questions.
